Hoy les presentamos a la banda italiana Stamina, originada a partir del guitarrista Luca Sellito, nacida en 2001 en la ciudad de Salerno - Italia, ejecuta un poderoso y virtuoso metal clasico melodico, con toques progresivos de alta calidad.
Stamina al paso del tiempo a sufrido varios cambios en su formacion y participaron muchos musicos de renombrado profesionalismo ( HENRIK BROCKMANN-LEAD VOCALS, MARIA McTURK- VOCALS, GIORGIO ADAMO-VOCALS, JACOPO DIDOMENICO-VOCALS, ENRICO CANU-DRUMS, ROBERTO CHIUMIENTO-BASS, LUIGI DIBERNARDO- DRUMS, MIRKKO DEMAIO-DRUMS (live session man 2012), ALESSANDRO BECCATI-DRUMS on "Two of a kind", FRANCESCO COPPOLA BOVE- DRUMS (live session man), ILARIA ADAMO, ILDA FAIELLA and ALFINA SCORZA- FEMALE BACKING VOCALS, MATTEO PARISI- CELLO COSTANTINO ELIA- SAX on one song of our first album "Permanent Damage"), como asi tambien la participacion en grandes conciertos nacionales e internacionales, conto con la participacion de grandes de la musica como Goran Edman (ex Malmsteen), Nils Molin (Dynatzy), Henrik Brockmann (ex Royal Hunt, Evil Masquerade) y Kenny Lubcke (ex Narita, André Andersen, vocalista de Royal Hunt).
Su discografia comprende "The Demo Songs" en febrero/marzo de 2003 (demo no oficial), "Here To Stay" en julio de 2004, "Permanent Damage " diciembre de 2007, "Two Of A Kind" lanzado en todo el mundo el 8 de octubre de 2010, "Perseverance" lanzado como descarga digital el 17 de enero de 2014 y como cd físico el 24 de febrero de 2014, "System of Power" lanzado en todo el mundo el 24 de febrero de 2017, tanto en formato físico como digital.
Este ultimo album mencionado, es el que tenemos el agrado de analizar, "System of Power" consta de 8 cortes de un power metal potenciado en todas sus notas, una notada evolucion a una marca registrada de banda italiana, con pasajes de un metal clasico bien marcado hacia lo melodico sin dejar fuera su fuerza progresiva a cada nota, comienza con "Holding on" ejecutado a la perfeccion, dando al publico un principio prometedor y anunciando la calidad de lo que se viene en el resto del album.
Con destacadas tonalidades del gran vocalista ALESSANDRO GRANATO, LUCA detalla la virtuosidad en las 6 cuerdas a cada paso de las canciones de este disco, seguido nos encontramos con el corte numero dos "Must be Blind" con destaques en los teclados del señor ANDREA BARONE como asi tambien en el corte que le sucede "One in a Millon", brillante demostracion de lo que que quiere revelar STAMINA en el poder que enseña en esta cancion con rasgos del metal de los 90, mostrandonos que la idea de seguir mostrando lo que los influencio sigue presente sin caer en ser repetitivo, y mostrando que su estilo personal y con una marca registrada a cada paso. LUCA nos deja sorprendidos asi como cada integrante marcando en sus notas y dejando en claro la intencion de llegar a cada uno de los oyentes alimentando esa necesidad de escuchar calidad, virtuosismo y metal. Siguiendo con el disco no encontramos con el corte numero 4 "Undergo", es el 'relax' de este disco, una balada al estilo 80/90, de sonidos claros y directos, sin nada que envidiar a las historicas baladas de las grandes bandas, Stamina teje su grandeza con su estilo para copar cada audioteca del publico. Corte numero 5, "Love Was Never Meant To Be", continuando con el estilo 'ochentero' casi con un estilo 'rockandrollero' llega esta buena interpretacion, con destellos brillantes de MARIO "URYO" URCIUOLI en el bajo marcando los tiempos, dandole el trasfondo de una cancion impecable, acompañado de ANDREA BARONE con su estilo exquisito a la hora de tocar las teclas. El corte siguiente, es el que le da el nombre a este album, "System of Power", fantastico! un tema a media marcha en cuanto al poder del comienzo, dejando al descubierto cada nota, cada instrumento, los cuales individualizas sencillamente y lo disfrutas, ya que muestra profesionalismo, calidad y amor por la musica. Corte numero 7, "Why" marcha triunfal anteponiendonos a resguardo de un power, de sonidos claros, retomando el comienzo, dandonos un sorpaso, hacia la imagen que la banda nos quiere demostrar, poder y mas power!!! con un desarrollo impecablable de parte de cada integrante involucrado mostrando su pasion en este gran trabajo presentado hoy. Y como todo libro , y como cada historia tiene un comienzo intrigante, un desarrollo prometedor y un final inesperado con ganas de seguir leyendo mas, asi llegamos a su ultimo corte, "Portrait of Beauty", sencillamente una obra maestra de este disco, acordes, voces, notas que sobrevuelan para darte un final a toda orquesta, con las ganas de seguir escuchando mas STAMINA, es la gran muestra de como se hacen las cosas cuando tu pasion hacia la musica, el metal te impulsa a poner sobre la mesa hasta el ultimo aliento para llegar a un resultado final con calidad como el que les acabamos de presentar. Yo por mi parte quiero mas de esta banda, quiero seguir halagando mis oidos con su melodia, STAMINA, esperamos el proximo!
