How and where did the band start?
The band started in 2015. Actually it was first a hardcore band in Facebook group. Later original drummer left the band and current lineup was formed in April of 2016.

How was the name of the band arrived and what does it mean?
Heroes Don't Ask Why was a band name our original drummer Pooki Kiviniemi had invented in early 2000. He nowadays makes our music videos under his own company Torspo Films.
With what record material do you have until today?
We have recorded our first six song EP a year ago. It was released december 2016.
Is there a song that identifies the band or is it important for it? Does it have a special meaning?
I believe that our first music video track 'Seen it All' has a special meaning for us. It tells a story of a hypocrite religious guy that tries to suffocate you with his truth about things. He doesn't listen what you are saying or appreciate your views of life.
What influences can the listener find in his music?
We have very diverse influences in the band. Drummer listens alot of metal, Bullet for my valentine, In Flames, Soilwork. Matias listens also metal, HIM, for example. Our bass player listens rock and finnish rock bands and as for myself, I listen Hendrix, Symphony X, Andy Timmons, Steve Vai among others.
What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We have few concerts coming up in the spring and we're also entering the studio again for new album to be released before the summer.
How is the metal move in Finland?
Metal movement is strong in Finland. Great bands everywhere. Of course in mainstream it's mostly about rap music now. But metal underground is large.
